Carer Support Services
For almost 30 years, Making Space has been providing the facilities and enablement services that mean people with a range of mental health conditions, complex learning disabilities and dementia can have the freedom to enjoy an everyday life.
We also know that an army of dedicated people - the carers - are deeply affected too. Carers need someone to turn to for practical help, advice and support... as important and deserving people in their own right.
We created the Making Space Carers Service so that those who are committed to the wellbeing of the people we all support have someone to talk to, have a powerful voice to represent them, and have the backup and opportunities to enjoy a much improved quality of life themselves.
