To help us achieve one of our cornerstone strategic aims of being recognised as an employer of choice, it is vital that we actively engage with our employees.
We encourage two-way communication with all employees and volunteers. There is the opportunity to feedback opinions anonymously through our regular engagement surveys, as well through our employee forum, Our Voice, where Our Voice representatives bring views of the 'employee voice' to senior management.
By listening and understanding how our employees feel about working for Making Space, and identifying with their involvement what we can do it improve, we can create a culture of learning, wellbeing and innovation.
Compared to 2013, our latest 2014 survey response rates have improved by over 40%. The feedback we’re getting suggests an encouraging 67% satisfaction rate.
