Becky Liddle wins Great British Care Award
Becky Liddle, our team leader at Rosemary Court, has been named frontline leader of the year at the national Great British Care Awards. The 33-year-old beat 8 other regional finalists to take this year's title.
A care worker since her teens, Becky was made team leader in 2012 and hasn't looked back. Her initiatives at our Rosemary Court service include a 1950s reminiscence room and extending end of life provision.
Becky's manager Lynne Carter, said: "I am so proud of Becky and what she has achieved since she started working as a team leader.
"She is creative, goes the extra mile, has a passion for the work she does and has shown she is an excellent frontline leader. She is greatly respected by all her team in Rosemary Court."
Becky said: "I feel ecstatic to have been chosen as a national winner, but also quite humbled as I don’t think I work any differently from my colleagues. We are a great team".
Judge Tracey Lowndes, of Crosskeys Homes, said: "Becky takes her role as a frontline leader very seriously and everything she does is for the benefit of leading staff to provide high quality care for the people they support.
The annual Great British Care Awards recognises individuals who strive for excellence across the care sector.
We are so proud of Becky and everything she has achieved. Congratulations once again Becky!
