Involvement Group celebrates ‘500’ milestone

In 2011 Making Space launched the ‘Involvement Group’. A forum where service users and carers come together each month and keep in touch with what’s happening across Making Space, enjoy guest speakers, share good practice and have a real influence throughout the organisation.

We are pleased to announce that since its launch we have now had an incredible 500 people join us at our involvement groups – an absolutely fantastic achievement.

Mark Thornton, Involvement Coordinator at Making Space says:

“The Involvement Team is delighted to have welcomed so many faces through our doors. The popularity of this group shows that involvement matters to everyone. It is through involvement that the people who use our services can help shape our services to meet their needs.

Congratulations to the Involvement Team and our Involvement Group.
