Siân is our Associate Director of Digital Transformation and Business Intelligence and is responsible for leading our digital transformation programme and developing a data and business intelligence strategy.
Her role is to help improve the use of technology to empower colleagues and strengthen our data-driven decision making, resulting in better outcomes for the people who draw on our support.
Siân studied Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Cambridge and has spent the majority of her career at the interface between technology and business teams. Following 26 years in the industrial gases sector, she made the move into the charity sector in 2018, inspired by a desire to use her skills and experience to create positive social impact.
Before joining Making Space, Siân was Head of Business Technology at the NSPCC, where she led a range of digital transformation projects to modernise systems and improve the way technology supported the organisation. She also held the role of Head of IT and Systems at The Challenge.
Since joining Making Space, she has enjoyed getting to know the social care sector and helping to introduce new technologies that will make a positive difference to everyone at Making Space.
Outside of work, Siân enjoys singing with two choirs and spending time walking in the countryside with her husband. With both of her sons now grown up, she also treasures every opportunity to catch up with them whenever they can get together.
