Standing together on World Suicide Prevention Day
As part of Suicide Prevention Month and in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day, our Bradford and Airedale Carer Support Service proudly joined the Baton of Hope Tour 25 in Bradford. Together with carers, volunteers and staff, we carried the baton at Valley Parade and connected with the community at the Charity Village, standing in solidarity to raise awareness, remember loved ones, and share the support available to carers across the district.

Making Space begins a fresh chapter for community mental health support in Stockport
Stockport Connect Hub has officially launched! Making Space is proud to lead a new chapter of community mental health support in Stockport, delivering the Mental Health Prevention and Enablement Service from a refreshed and welcoming space at Progress House. The service launched with two vibrant community events and is now open daily, offering a wide range of support and activities.

Making Space project celebrated at National Policing Innovation Forum for its impact on neurodiversity in the criminal justice system
Our Neurodiversity in the Criminal Justice System project has been awarded first place at the 2025 N8 PRP Policing Innovation Forum. Recognised for its innovative approach and practical resources, the project is helping to improve outcomes for neurodivergent individuals across the justice system.

Making Space named semi-finalist in the Care Innovation Challenge 2025 with Co-Pro GAME
Making Space has reached the semi-finals of the Care Innovation Challenge 2025 with the Co-Pro GAME – a creative, co-produced tool designed to embed co-production and spark meaningful conversations in care. Developed with people we support, the game impressed judges during a weekend of innovation in Coventry. We’ll now pitch at the final in Birmingham this October – stay tuned!

Our 2025 Volunteer Celebration Event - Dolly, Duets & Dancing!
We pulled out all the stops to thank our brilliant volunteers at this year’s celebration event at Doncaster Racecourse. With over 60 volunteers from across the country, a Dolly Parton tribute act, and even a surprise duet from Deputy CEO Phil Orton, it was a fantastic day of fun, food and appreciation.
