Cedar House offers a planned short break service for up to seven people at a time, with six bedrooms available for planned respite and one dedicated emergency bedroom. The service also features a large garden, providing a peaceful and enjoyable outdoor space for guests.
Our aim is to ensure that each person, or the person they care for, has a short break that meets their individual needs, whether that’s a busy, fun-filled stay or a calm and relaxing one.

A home from home
We provide 1-to-1 support where this is identified in an individual’s care and support plan. All meals and snacks are provided according to each person’s dietary needs and preferences, and bedding and linen are also included.
Referrals for both planned short breaks and emergency respite must come through Lincolnshire County Council. Individuals accessing planned short breaks will be allocated several units to use over the course of a year, with each unit representing a night’s stay.
We work with individuals, families, and carers to schedule stays in six-month blocks. Units can be used flexibly, from a one-night stay to a two-week stay (or longer), depending on availability.
The services offered at Cedar House are consistent with those provided at our other site, Swallow Lodge, and we support the same client group across both locations.
