About Stockport Connect Hub

Our service supports adults (18+) in Stockport that are currently accessing or have previously accessed secondary mental health services.

Our Stockport Connect Hub offers a safe and welcoming space for members of the service to access a range of information, advice, emotional and practical support to improve mental wellbeing.

The Hub is open Monday to Friday between 11am - 4pm with a range of therapeutic groups and activities with additional groups and events taking place on evenings.

Our Wellbeing and Engagement Team provides 1-1 appointments between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. Out of hours support is also available on request.

We welcome self-referrals and referrals from professionals - it's quick, easy and we're here to help.

What we offer

Our goal is to provide support focused on improved independence that suits the individual needs and aspirations of each person that visits our service.

Support we offer includes:

  • 1-1 staff support and group support, where needed, to help people to talk, listen and to feel connected and to enable people to take ownership of their mental wellbeing
  • A safe, accessible space for people to connect with like-minded people who offer peer-to-peer support
  • Experienced staff who can help connect people to local specialist support services
  • Guidance to navigate housing, employment, debt, emotional support, and physical health services
  • Opportunities to keep learning by with a range of courses
  • Volunteering opportunities to give support to the community by providing people with new skills, which also increase chances of employment
