As the festive season approaches, Making Space is launching our Christmas Campaign to raise awareness and support for those who struggle with the often unseen mental health impacts of the season.

This November, Making Space is proudly celebrating its achievements at the regional finals of the prestigious Great British Care Awards (GBCA), a celebration of excellence and dedication within the UK’s social care sector. This month, Making Space hosted a dynamic and impactful networking event at The Village Hotel, Warrington, offering a fresh approach to workplace mental health. What made this event stand out? Each of the eight expert speakers had only 3 minutes to share their insights!

October saw the return of one of the most heart-warming events on the Making Space calendar, the Our People Awards 2024, an inspiring day dedicated to celebrating the incredible achievements of the people we support, our volunteers, and our colleagues. Held at Aintree Racecourse, this year's event brought together over 300 attendees to enjoy a day filled with uplifting stories, engaging activities, music, and most importantly, laughter.

We are proud to announce the relaunch of our Warrington Day Service as the Connect Hub, now featuring the newly opened Café Connect. This vibrant new addition offers a welcoming haven where the community can access vital information, emotional support, and practical assistance aimed at enhancing mental wellbeing.
